The first thing you learn in law school is that justice isn’t handed out freely.  Like anything else worth having, it has to be fought for and won.  The best part about being a lawyer is that it’s my job to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves.  Every time I see someone get approved who really needs to be on disability, I know that another battle’s been won and there’s a little more justice in the world.  That’s when I know I’ve done something worth doing.
